The writing initiative
The writing initiative was launched to foster academic writing skills among interested PPLE students. It primarily aims to provide an opportunity for PPLE students to write an academic paper with one-on-one guidance from our editors and access to workshops that teach the skills of academic writing.

My research aims to uncover the labyrinthical political and judicial processes that may allow Romanian Secret Services to become a power in the shadows. The paper seeks to answer how and if these phenomena endanger the country's democracy and their repercussions on the citizens. In doing so, I will examine concepts such as dark law, national security and statutory vagueness.

The topic of my research paper is the tension between content moderators’ mental health and social-media users’ protection, more specifically how these two should be weighed one against another. I’m planning to approach this topic using both a deontological and a utilitarian perspective in order to examine how these aspects of social media security might and should be analysed and compared.
